Parking: entrance on Polstead Road.
By bike: The Anchor is near several cycle routes, and is especially handy for the towpath on the canal into town.
By canal: we are right next to the canal and several moorings.

The famous Anchor Quiz December 6th from 8pm. Enjoy our Meal Deal beforehand - £15 for a meal with a drink and entry to the Quiz included.
THE Christmas Fair - November 24th and 25th 12 noon to 8pm daily. Get ahead for Christmas and support independent artists and producers selling their wares for gifts and general indulgences!

On Friday mornings enjoy "Breakfast Club" for coffee & croissants, from 9am - 11am, term time only.
The Anchor Book Club meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:30pm in the conservatory. The Author also attends to discuss the book. Upcoming:
Currently reading "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, for discussion on November 12th from 7.30pm.
We shall have the Book Club Winter Social on December 10th from 7.30pm. Selection of titles for 2013 to be nominated and discussed.
January's title is "Snow" by Orhan Pamuk, for discussion on January 14th from 7.30pm.
All meetings are in the Conservatory at The Anchor, commencing at 7.30pm. New members are welcome and there is no charge!
